Maintenance Windows

Plan Downtime Without False Alerts

Schedule maintenance windows to suppress monitoring alerts during planned downtime. Keep your team from getting paged for expected outages.

Scheduled Downtime Done Right

Maintenance is necessary. Getting paged for planned downtime is not. Maintenance windows tell StatusDrift when to expect outages so alerts are suppressed automatically.

  • Scheduled windows — Set start and end times in advance
  • Per-monitor or global — Affect specific monitors or everything
  • Recurring schedules — Weekly maintenance windows that repeat automatically
  • Status page integration — Automatically show maintenance on your status page
  • Auto-close — Windows end automatically at the scheduled time

How It Works

Schedule in Advance

Create a maintenance window with a start time, end time, and which monitors are affected. Do this hours or days before the actual maintenance.

Automatic Suppression

When the maintenance window starts, monitoring continues but alerts are suppressed. Your team won’t be paged for expected downtime.

Auto-Resume

When the window ends, normal alerting resumes automatically. If something is still down, you’ll be notified immediately.
